Its4me is one of very few solely Internet based UK insurance companies; complete a short quotation form online and receive a quote that you can buy online using your credit or debit card for immediate cover. You can even print off your insurance certificate. If you are reluctant to give card details via the Internet you can complete the payment stage by telephone.
There is an extensive help section and if you are unable to find the answer to your question you can take advantage of their E-chat facility where you can talk to an advisor via email.

| No Claim Discount |
Yes - No Claim Discount is given by Insurers in recognition of the fact that you have not made any claims. It works on a cumulative scale that you are allowed to transfer from one company to another. You are unable to transfer your No Claim Discount to anyone else. If you need to make a claim, your no claim discount is reduced according to the Insurer’s current scale. The scale used by each Insurer is different but details of the current scales are available from its4me. |

| Protected No Claim Discount |
Yes - The idea is to protect your No Claim Discount (NCD) if you have a claim. When you have earned a certain amount of no claim discount, you qualify to protect your discount so that if you have one claim, the percentage discount in recognition of your driving experience is not reduced. A small additional premium is charged to protect your discount. After a second claim, the protection is removed and your bonus is stepped back in line with the current scale.
